Pengawalan Wisuda Menjadi Tradisi Mahasiswa Elektro Untuk Mengapresiasi Wisudawan/i

Universitas Trunojoyo Madura dalam kurun satu tahun selalu melangsungkan 2 kali periode wisuda. Prosesi wisuda tersebut biasanya dillaksanakan pada bulan september dan bulan maret. Wisuda adalah suatu momen atau sebuah proses pelantikan kelulusan mahasiswa yang telah menempuh masa belajar pada suatu universitas. Prosesi wisuda diawali dengan prosesi masuknya Rektor dengan Wakil Rektor dengan segenap Dekan untuk mewisuda   wisuda.

Untuk periode maret ini, Teknik Elektro meluluskan mahasiswa sebanyak 12 lulusan. Wisudawan – Wisudawan tersebut diantaranya M. Aris Mahmudi,  Maria Ulfa, Bobby Yogi Amien Prakoso, Mercury Putra Ulil Abshor, Rofidi Kamil, Imam Turmudzi, Ahmad Yunus Maulana Abdillah Ahda, Durrotul Mamlu’ah, Triyanawati Desi, Toyyibah, Retno Diyah Pramana Sari, dan Syafik.

Untuk mengapresiasi kelulusan tersebut, Pengurus Himpunan Mahasiwa Teknik Elektro mengadakan pengawalan wisuda. Pengawalan tersebut dilakukan sebelun   wisudawan masuk ke dalam gedung pertemuan. Pengawalan tersebut diikuti oleh puluhan mahasiwa Teknik elekto. Pengawalan ini dimulai pada pukul 7.30 WIB dengan titik kumpul di RKBF  (depan Prodi Teknik Elektro). Para   Wisudawan disuruh untuk  berjalan dengan rute dimulai RKBF melewati jalan gedung cakra hingga masuk ke jalan kembar dengan titik akhir di gedung pertemuan dengan dikawal oleh puluhan sepeda motor yang klaksonnya selalu dibunyikan. Tak lupa pula Mars kebanggaan Teknik Elektro dikumandangkan dan juga bendera Himatro selalu dikibarkan. Sontak pengawalan Tersebut menjadi  banyak perhatian Para orang – orang yang ada di kampus. Tentunya pengawalan ini menjadi unik dan langka khususnya di Kampus Universitas Trunojoyo Madura. Sesampainya di Gedung Pertemuan Ketua Umum Himatro Memasangkan Toga Kebanggaan kepada wisudawan sebelum  wisudawan masuk kedalam untuk mengikuti prosesi wisuda.

Menurut Ketua Umum Himatro Prosesi Pengawalan wisuda ini adalah sebuah bentuk apresiasi unik kepada wisudawan atas gelar yang diraih. “pengawalan wisuda ini dilaksanakan sebagai bentuk apresiasi mahasiswa teknik elektro kepada kakak angkatan 2013, yang lulus dan juga sebagai bentuk OSPEK Terakhir karena wisudawan di arahkan untuk berjalan kaki sambil menyanyikan Mars Elektro” ungkap Faizin (Ketua Umum Himatro).
